We have two libraries full of books of all reading levels.
I am a not a native of Benton County, but have lived here now for 30 years with my husband, Merle.
We have raised 3 sons; Mitch, Miles and Marshall in our rural farm home .
We sent all 3 of our children to Sacred Heart School and
then on to Benton Central. Mitch and Miles have graduated from Purdue University, and Marshall is a junior at University of Indianapolis.
I have always been very active at Sacred Heart while my children attended school, as a volunteer, teacher's aide, recess aide, substitute teacher, Christmas Bazaar organizer, etc.
Funny how life comes full circle, so once again I am back at Sacred Heart now as the school librarian. I hope to continue the importance and fun of reading to the many children of Sacred Heart and to my two new grandchildren, Shannon and McCabe Sparenberg.
Reading is the Back Bone of Life!
