I have lived on a rural farm in Benton County for over 30 years with my husband, Merle. Our sons, Mitch, Miles and Marshall attended Sacred Heart School and Benton Central. Mitch and Miles graduated from Purdue University and Marshall graduated from the University of Indianapolis.
I have always been active at Sacred Heart while my children attended school serving as a volunteer, teacher's aide, recess aide, substitute teacher, Christmas Bazaar organizer, etc.
Now the third generation of my family is attending Sacred Heart. Isn't it funny how life comes full circle, I am back at Sacred Heart as the school librarian. I hope to continue the importance and fun of reading to the many children of Sacred Heart.
